Stone Guard R&R ???

Has anyone removed and replaced the factory stone guards on the rear quarter panels?
The new ones are on 3M backing paper so I'm guessing its the same process used with clear bra?
Any experience out there?
Thx

The OEM on my 2008 were marked up and had begun to discolor, so when I had XPEL ultimate clear bra installed I had the installer remove the originals and replace with XPEL. Very satisfied.

Yes..>Same process. Heat them up and they peel off. Clean well and degrease, and install new ones as instructed. Any small bubbles will go away with some heat and time. Most products allow for a wet solution to install so you can move them around before they dry in place.

Good luck,
DC

Once again DC is dead on right. Just remember when peeling the originals off, use a heat gun and peel slowly from a corner so as not to pull paint loose.
