P0003 & p0203

I was on vacation and havent driving the car in over a month.

Started it earlier, it idled kinda funny and after a few seconds the check engine light started to blink.

Switched off the car and the AP found both P0003 and P0203

P0003 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit Low
P0203 Injection value, open circuit

Would appreciate some insight from all your collective wisdom.

Car is a 997.1 TT.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like battery to me. Did you have the battery on a tender while not in use?

I did a reset a couple of times and it just sorted itself out.

Perhaps injector #2 was stuck or something.

Could be a lazy injector.

Running a tank or two of Chevron gasoline could help. Or you could go big and dump in a bottle of Techron into the gas tank then fill the tank and drive the car.

I use the bottle that treats 20 gallons even though the fuel tank of my Turbo is ~16 gallons.

It is SOP to if you notice any improvement to run a 2nd bottle of Techron but whether you notice an improvement or not I'd run 2 bottles, one after the other.

If you use Techron out of a bottle the recommendation is to change the oil/filter afterwards. The oil gets a bit more contaminated using concentrated Techron and the last thing these engines need is more oil contamination.
