With my 2003 Turbo coupe just a quick press of the raise button has the window going all the way up even if the window starts out all the way down.

If your car's windows don't behave this way maybe there's a "komfort" setting that enforces this behavior and this setting may be changed via either the factory diagnostics computer or perhaps Durametric?

It is a safety feature that is suppose to keep from trapping a body part in the window.

No its not its dumb. Other cars have that and it works based on pressure back on the window

I thought it was screwed up, requiring a trip to the dealer. THANKS FOR THE ABOVE!!

Is this a diy type of thing? My driver side window "cracks" when I pull the handle but then it pops back up sometimes before I close the door. In that case I have to reclose the door or manually crack the window and then close the door. I'm guessing it's a sensor/switch issue. Any idea what the part number is by chance?

Similar to my issue. If the car (997.1 Turbo) is not or was not running, the window goes all the way up whenever the driver door is opened. If the car is running or was just turned off, the window drops properly for closing the door. WTH (what the heck). So I doubt it is the switch, but rather the ECU program is messed up??? Anybody else seen this? Any ideas to fix?
