Congrats on the 997TT!

You picked the best colour as well. good taste

You should look into the speed tech systems
I just got one and its amazing - you bought a race car...it should sound like one

I don't know why john posted those vids when mine are so much better!!!
(JK john..)

Anyway enjoy the car - they really are incredible machines

It makes me want to drive mine right now but i got a nail in the tire

Bought my 997.1 with GIAC & TUBI setup. Previous owner said it caused him about 7K.

This is street set up and as loud as a 'hog' at idle. The added tune pushes it from 480 to about 550hp. Great thing about this car is you will eventually find out how easy & cheaper it is to work on basic maintenance and fixes yourself. Aside from oil changes & battery, I've recharged the A/C & fixed a door axle lever which is a common fail sooner or later. Speeding tickets are also unavoidable. Enjoy your 997. You won't own another DD like this unless it's another Porsche. *btw - though you got low-miles, after 10 yrs, I would check the tires for dry rot/cracks. 911's have no spares.

yes definitely need to change the tires as they are old.
There was a race tubi on sale here but was a bit afraid of CEL and not having cats at all. Waiting for the right exhaust to come up for sale~
