ECU Tuning
ECU Tuning
Hello from Tampa,
Just added a 2009 997.1 to my garage and was looking for some tuning suggestions. I have used Mase in the past to tune my 360 (awesome) and he does a lot with P cars also. I have reached out to Vivid and just looking for some other recommendations.
I don't see myself going nuts on this car with the modes, but would like to exploit some of the potential that this vehicle can deliver.
Car is a 6 speed, bone stock with 14K miles.
TIA

Hi Sam,
Your name has popped "several" times while I have been reading this subject on the forum. I will reach out to you for your recommendations. I don't see myself going nuts on the mods, flash, possibly exhaust, possibly some simple mods. I don't see turbo's or intercoolers in the future, I believe I can get to the low/mid 600's without going that far.
When I tuned my 360, I had the ECU bench flashed to my mods which were headers, sport cats and racing exhaust. I was very happy with the results (the sound is amazing). I don't think I need headers on the 997, but the exhaust/cats is probably a good consideration along with the ECO tune.
I look forward to discussing options with you.
