Hey guys just got around to installing my new wheels, I originally had ordered these for my previous silver 997.1tt, during wheel construction time I ended up selling that car and buying a black 997.1tt. Not sure how I feel about the "black on black" look

Wheels setup is:

CCW 505a Monobloc Gloss Black
20x9 +43 with 2" lip and 245 tires
20x12.5 +35 with 4.5" lip and 325 tires

Debating on selling these and going with a polished or brushed look

It doesn't look bad but sounds like you don't like it, have you considered having the wheels refinished/powder coated?

Not really much I would do there, I think I would wrap the car white and keep the wheels black before trying to chrome or powder the wheels another color.

Opinion: not good. Black on black can work but that design in 20" is too open/spacious (makes rotors seem tiny) IMO and looks like something from Discount Wheel Warehouse.

Great wheels, however maybe its just me but black wheels on a black car (murdered out look) seems so yester-year! A lighter wheel color would really showcase the wheel design and provide a nice contrast against the body of the car. Maybe its just me...

Yup im with you, the wheels themselves are awesome, great quality and finish, when I picked to have them powder coated in gloss black I had a silver 911 with intentions on possibly wrapping it white.

In person all cleaned up I get tons of compliments on the car, but picture wise I don't think the black on black is very photogenic!
