Engine mounts....
I added Wevos, basically the same as RSS semi-solids, and love the added noise and vibration, plus the improved sense of solidity. I later put in a Function First transmission insert and am considering Numeric shifter cables to bring even more rawness in.
I received my gt2 mounts today. Externally no different than the TT mounts, but they were double the price for whatever reason. I will let you guys know how they behave once the car is up and running.

yeah would be interested in the comparison between the Turbo and GT2 mounts as well. I put new Turbo mounts ~ 10k miles ago...this winter I'll probably check on them since I'm at much higher torque than stock. I can tell you I know for sure the engine has lowered down some during that time based on the position of my exhaust tips. I don't think they are failed or anything but they are being worked lol.
Those were my thoughts exactly. I was going to just replace stock ones and bumped into this GT2 part number. I figure lets go with the Porsche part that was designed to withstand the most hp/torque and has a stock fit.
yeah we are in alignment. I know other members have had success with the aftermarket ones as well. Just trying to understand all my options if I need a change. Appreciate you posting this info. I guess if I do swap I would be trying to get away with the softest ones I can to keep the vib down as little possible. Its a street car, I can push on the mounts since its not under hard accel often
Not sure, it was on my 07 with 15,000 miles. I felt they were awful. Maybe a bad set.

This is the best solution IMO without going too crazy

I replaced my originals at 80k miles. The droop wasn't noticeable (though the replacements did raise the exhaust by maybe 1/4") and there were no obvious signs that they were bad (vibrations, noises, etc.), but the engine did seem to shift its weight around in the back more than I'd like. Nothing disconcerting, but just a bit floaty.
I have them on my desk and they look fine externally, maybe slightly more rubber showing than new, but it's pretty easy to flex the mounting bolt by hand so I can only imagine what a 480lb-ft engine was doing to them.
