I received the official Picture with the Data Card from Porsche today and they show the following figures:
0-60 - 3.7 (manual) ......3.4 (Tip)
1/4 mile - 11.8 (manual) .....11.6 (Tip)
If the Tip is supposed to be that much faster than the 6 speed then how fast will the PDK equipped cars be?

not inspiring
IMHO, it looks like an aftermarket version of my old 996 TT. very uninspiring and a huge disappointment for ME. I was hoping for a really unique car that set itself apart from the 997 entry level cars.
The styling of the F430 and its exclusivity, lower depreciation, sound, etc. are well worth the few tenths of seconds that it may be slower than the TT.
I am waiting to be drawn back to Porsche, but not this year.

though i imagine that as the speeds get higher, the Ruf will pull away convincingly.
quarter mile on the RT12 is 11 seconds dead. i'd also imagine that in gear runs to say, 150mph would be very telling...
but i suppose we'll have to wait and see!
