I wonder how close to scale these images are...if they're at all accurate, the 997 is definately the largest of the variants...

Gotta love the 964/965 although the 1994 3.6 would have been a better choice to represent that body style...

Not much of a surprise! Cars get bigger and heavier.

There is a clear break in the evolution with the 996tt and subsequent 997. The 993 and below look beautiful.

The bottom car is '76/'77 Turbo Carrera. The second from the bottom appears to be an '85-'89 Euro Turbo - integrated fog lights in the front valance and whale tail from the '78 and up Turbos. Still the most "exotic" of the Turbo series.

Side profile saves it.
Bastard child revealed in any other view.

The 993 rules supreme. Still the best looking TT. Might be one of the most beautiful cars ever.

I'm afraid I have to agree with you. Still not a fan of the front and rear bumpers. Nor wing.

Yep, that's them. Remind me of Alipina Z8 rims. Eeeew....

Those old-school 911 shapes are just damn sexy. I like the interiors of the new ones better, but exterior lost some magic for sure along the evolutionary road. Although they gained far superior aerodynamics.

Am I looking at the same picture? I think the 996TT looks like the only one built out of a solid piece of metal. 993tt is close, gotta love that spoiler. The 996 just does it for me.
