Yea it was a total cluster. I was not starting the runs correctly and rolling in at 55mph which makes a dramatic impact on the results.

Learning here, times will improve as I figure out the sweet spot. I have also raised the rev limiter to 7400 so I don’t have to make the dreaded 4-5 shift.

Stay tuned.

His 60-100 was "slow" on this run because he shifted 3-4th at around 95 and the time includes the shift. Otherwise this seems like a pretty stout run. 60-130 in 7.3x with a shift and on pump gas.....pretty great. I'll bet he is right and he'll be less than 7 with the right conditions.

I think I misspoke- it looks like he shifted at around 95, but I would assume it's a 4th to 5th shift (??) since he reached 130 on the graph. As Roffle says, best 60-100 times are in 3d and starting at 30 or 40.

With the 68s you should be able to get low 3s or even high 2s for a dedicated 3rd gear 60-100mph time. Start around 45-50mph and put a part-throttle load on the car and then floor it around 3300-3500rpm and it should
be good. I always did 4th gear 60-130mph pulls with my 68s and on Sunoco 94 (equivalent to ACN91, lol) I could get repeatable 6.9-7.0s times. Pretty decent for pumpgas.

Cheers, thanks for the update on the tune!

not sure how you plan to brake boost, but if you start at 35, you'll be at full boost anyway by the time you hit 60 for sure

Reading with interest. Thanks for sharing! What led you to select the 1300cc injectors? I was under the impression that stock injectors would be fine for 68mm VTGs and pump gas.

Where are you getting your corn? Very interested if you could send me your supplier details.

Put foot on brake, push down throttle while foot on brake, release brake.

You are right though, will be hitting peak boost by 3800rpm in 3rd.

Stock Injectors do not cut it with the beefier VTGs. You must get up sized Injectors to deliver the fuel requirements to maximize results.

exactly...your injector duty cycles will be above 90% if you use stock injectors and try to get the most from the turbos. Not a good idea! And that's with pumpgas
