Depreciation and mileage on 2012 Turbo S

Just sold my C4 and purchasing a 2012 turbo S . Its high miles 115k. I’m not concerned about the car mechanically. I believe it is a solid car and has impeccable service records. My concern is I plan on driving it probably 10k - 15k miles a year and wonder how a 150k mile car is going to sell if I decide to upgrade in a few years. Any first hand knowledge is welcome.

LIke yourself, it will all come down to finding a buyer willing to purchase a high mileage, costly to repair car with "acceptable" condition. After 100k miles additional miles has minor impact on price...it's all about condition and price/ value. Since there isn't anything special about one std 997.2 Turbo S to another, they are all well optioned, so it is basically driven by the overall mkt.

Will a 997.2 TTS have better value than a 991.2 TTS, comparing like featured, mileage and condition? Likely the price gap btwn the 2 cars will shrink bc of the classic body of the 997, but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

BOTTOMLINE, you buy a high mileage P-car to drive, unless it is a special limited production model that you plan to fully restore at some point. Buy it, drive it, maintain it and get according market value when selling.
