They could sell that plate and buy a REAL 997TT> What is it with the ridiculously expensive plate resales in Europe?

 

^ is it really that expensive? how much would a plate like that fetch, like a G note?

 

This is a Belgian plate and is probably 25 years old.
It's just a coincidence that this person once got this licence plate and kept it for all the cars he had in these past years.

AFAIK only in the UK you can buy/sell license plates.

Here in Belgium you it costs you 625 Euro to get a plate like that, *if* it's available.

 

I know someone with the same plate.

 

believe it or not but a plate like 997 TT in the Uk if it came up for sale could fetch as much as £15-20K.

Next week he's doing the 997TT conversion body kit.

 

Top gear did a show on license plates and their costs. I couldn't believe it. To spend that kind of money on a plate is beyond me.

Remember in Europe it is far more common to get a model name delete. But pay big bucks then to have the model on the plate instead???
