325/30/19-what size wheels?

Going to upgrade to toyo r888r due to traction issues. I currently have 11” rear wheels with the stock 305. I know the 325/30 will fit the 11” wheel just fine, but would it be worth upgrading to a 12” width wheel? I’m not sure if the increased wheel width is needed or not. Thoughts?

Generally you do not want to mess with the width of the wheels too much. Things like tramlining for front wider wheels and additional stresses on the drive train may cause unexpected issues.

Having said that, the rear 20" wheels I have are a 12" width. As long as you keep the overall diameter similar to stock and the differential F-R to around 3% you should be OK.

yeah the 325/30 rear with a 245/35 front are extremely close to the stock size difference front to back. Just didn’t know if I’d be better off with a 12” rear wheel to accommodate that tire instead of 11”.

The 325 Cup 2 specs a 11-12" wheel. You typically want to max out wheel width for best performance.

The RS uses a 245 & 325 on 9" & 12" wheels respectively
