i would go with the 360 if it's more of a weekend car.
if more of a daily driver then go with the 997tt. the 360 you can't take it to grocery etc. It's too high profile of a car and attracts way too much attention.
After all they say that the Porsche turbos are the exotics you can live with.

my gf's dad own a gt3 and who ever plans on getting one is in for a treat. a very ncie race/street car. the only thing he has had done to it is a console deletion that Porsche does. he is thinking about a new exhaust but has had it for a year now or more and by far the best car he has own out of ferrari benz and few others.

I agree with going for the 360 while you can and then getting the 997T later on once the hype has decreased... You can enjoy a Ferrari while waiting for the right time to switch to a 997T (and i would actually trade in your 996T for the 997T.) If you can afford to experience the Ferrari, you should do it.
I've got a friend in miami beach with an '04 360 spider and a 997S (with some mods), the difference it huge and the Ferrari is just more of a thrill...
