Agree totally. I have never considered a vette before, but the Z06 is an awsome car. You have to be objective about things.

I'm a Porsche driver to the end but after having witness the Z06 on a track all I can say is that is a very serious car. Wicked fast (and ubelievably quiet).

 

I'm ordering the ZO7 that car is going to kick all of our a$$s, 650 hp 100k thats what im talking about.

I love my grandpa996TT though!

Actually, the ZO6 was faster across the board but they picked the TT of course because when you compare performance cars, its about how comfortable they are and how good you look in them.

 

No, not really, the turbo beat it 0 - 60 and 0 - 100. Here are the results over at the Corvette Forum. They also tested it against the manual. Isn't the tip supposed to be faster?

Selective reading on my part. I saw the 0-150 ( you know that happens everyday ) and the lap time.

 

Yes! exaclty 9eleven. The tip is prob gonna be about the same at the z06 in the 0-150 as the manual is a little slower. i looked at the corvette forum, and those guys are just idiots. im sorry but that z06 other being better for ur wallet is nowhere near the level of the 997TT.
Also, from a roll, the tip should prob win, the manual will come down to the better driver. I imagine the tip runs 11.4-11.6 @123 or 124? well see in more tests. but that is very impressive as it should be for the 997tt. after all, it is a TURBO.
I still find it simply amazing that the turbo seems to defy its "disadvantages" of weight and power. it is the least powerful of the group in terms of hp, and is the heaviest by several hundred lbs, yet still is the fastest. imagine what this car would do if it had 500 hp, same tq, and weighed even 200 lbs less. i cannot wait to see the 997TTS and the 997GT2. imagine the car that porsche will release with these two variations!
