996TTASrocket is infamous around these parts
I wonder if Europipe will do anything. I was pleased with the Stage II loud exhaust when I had my 996TT.

Id agree with you that ferraris have great exhaust notes by all means, but 911's do sound amazing. A lot of my friends, who know cars very well, often hear me listening to 997s videos and ask what ferrari that is and I tell them its a 997s. I love hte way both sound, but as good as both are, nothing can beat the CGT. that has easily got to, hands down, have the best exahust note ive ever heard.

Fred,

Do what Ruf does with the 996 TT exhaust. Take out two of the cats and take out the reflectors. After you do that you have a decent sounding free flowing exhaust.

I mean, all of the newer ferrari's especially with the f1 shifter's or e gear in the lambo's.. With a loud exhaust and the lazy shifting, it sounds like a slow automatic and farty, that's what makes me not like it, does anyone feel the same way?

Anyway i love the way porche's sound, i like letting my friend drive it and me standing on the outside because i never appreciate what the car sounds like!

The sound is lost in the vtg turbos. I think, it will be complicated to get the 997 turbo sound better.

Id have to agree with you Martin and the other guys who said it. The f cars that sound really good are the f40,f50,enzo(f60), the 430 and the challenge stradale. Other than that they DO NOT sound better than any porsche. people have to understand that the TTs are gonna sound different than an engine like the 997S that revs to over 7 grand as opposed to the TT. Even more is the GT3 which revs to 8400 now! I cant wait to hear that, especially with the new exhaust fitted to it. I love the way porsches sound as well.
