New TT seriously needs new Exhaust

Well been driving it now for over a week and I simply cannot wait to get an aftermarket exhaust.

I will be the first to admit that I am one to like loud, but this silence is KILLING me

I have had many cars and I have to say that this is indeed one of the most quiet exhaust notes I have ever had. Again, some people might like it but not me.

Tuners, please hurry!!!

tailspin is infamous around these parts
Give it time..

The exhaust should get louder with more miles on it. Unless you really want loud than go after market but wait abit It will get deeper and louder..

Agreed, Ferrari's have the best sound - Period.

I just find it odd that the Cayman S I had sounded much better then the TT.

exhaust

dont know about the Turbo exhaust system...
I am waiting for someone to change out the Turbo wheels into something that really WAKES up this BEAST (B, LooL). The STAR wheels are ok running about a 3 to 4 in my book on cool looking., I mean I can deal, but..waiting for the pics on wheel/rim changeovers to what this car really deserves!! As for the exhaust, louder is better

Fred, i found all NA porsche with aftermarket exhaust sound better than TT with any aftermarket exhaust.

Martin, do you have more pic of that TT with TA wheels?

Ray, all of the NA Porsche's for the most part do indeed sound good, some say better than a turbo's. But if you find the right exhaust for the 996tt, it cans ound really good with exhaust tone and not just turbo thrust sound, such as the Kressieg, Cargraphic and Europipe.. Even my FVD has a nice melodic sound under light throttle or normal driving, nowhere near the GT3 with exhaust but not bad! LOL.. Hard to compare NA to FI exhaust wise, totally different sounding, unless you have an F40

BTW, that's the only clear, full picture he posted up!

I am going to wait several months to see what each tuner is going to come out with. I don't want to jump the gun on the first exhaust that is out as I want to hear diff exhausts.

I most likely will go with:

Cargraphic
TechArt
Fabspeed
Tubi

So tuners, please hurry
