Hi Ben,

Congratulations on a great car. I told Jason (Atomic80) blue is usually not my color, but the cobalt is simply stunning. I will seriousely consider that for my next Porsche.

I have followed your legend from your SupraTT days, to the M5, to the Vipers, to the MBs, on and on and on. It never occured to me that you have never owned a Porsche. That is a heck of a 'virgin' purchase. You will love the car. But I share your line of thinking: if you're gonna start, start at the top. For me, my RUF is my first Porsche as well. Best move I have ever made.

Congrats again for the blue beauty. When the car arrives, would love to get together for coffee and trade stories.

CP

Beautiful 997TT - Treynor, I just had mine shipped out 3 weeks ago. I strongly suggest using Intercity Lines, they did a fine job getting my car from Alabama to Los Angeles...good luck and enjoy!

Congratulations Ben!!! I remember communicating with you a couple of years ago (on SVTPerformance) about a 996TT, but you elected to go with the SL65 instead. Glad to see that you finally joined the Porsche family. That is a beautiful 997TT!

I contacted InterCity - they seem to be good people, all right, but they're booked solid for the next 3 weeks doing an event. Any other recommendations for shipping companies?

... it's almost enough to make me take a couple vacation days, fly out to Boston, and drive back. It's a pity it is so far...

Ben, beautiful car. Do the road trip! It would be a blast. For transporters you can try Horseless Carriage. Check MBworld also (i'm cte430 there), there were some threads about carriers and suggestions. I used Intercity when I sold my E55 to a fellow MBworld member and they were terrific. I know several others who have also used them and were pleased.
