air-cooledjbj is infamous around these parts
I agree. The car looks much more aggressive and intimidating in person (especially the rear!)

Just got back from a nice weekend in the Catskill Mountains in upstate NY. stayed at a friends house and got up real early(sunrise) Sunday morning to take a drive:

All I can say is that the 997TT just seemed to get faster and faster the more I drove it hard. I was on these mountain roads that went around this big resevour and it was full of nothing but 3rd. and 4th and 5th gear stuff.
I had that car screaming in those gears and all I can say is that its a hell of a machine. Right away I can tell the difference between the 996Tt and the 997TT when I was in the corners. the 997 seemed to be alot more sure and balanced better. The power along with the steering feel was much sharper IMO. When the 997Tt hits the end of 3rd. and just goes into 4th it seems to pull harder than ever.
I did 90 miles on these roads at 6:30 AM on Sunday morn. and all I can say is that the 997TT is a hell of a car.
I was in sport mode the whole time and I had the car a little sideways a few times(on purpose) and the seats along with the whole car to me seemed PERFECT. I basically gave it a run I never did for such a long time and it seemed that the more I drove the car hard the more it wanted..
All in all the 997Tt is still the car that does it for me and between the looks and the power along with the reliability I think its the best car I ever owned..

Yes i will go, wish we could do a track event and not have the car's pose in a parking lot LOL, but our drive at Bear Mountain yesterday was intense, just like on a track Wait until you see the video i will be posting up shortly, a friend video taped with professional equipmen all day, got some sick footage of my car with RS4, GT2 and viper in front taking crazy turns, alot of fun and great drivers!

RPM, they are champions!
