997 TT On the Road..

I know alot of people here think that the 997TT just dont have that whole exotic thing going on; But I must DIS agree..
yesterday I let my friend drive my car and I drove his M5 and all I can say is that when you look at your turbo coming from ANY angle its off the charts!!
The lines of that car are stunning and it looks like its ready for anything. I was blown away while looking at my car on the road. There are many times that I am driving my car and I say I wish I had something more exotic; But after seeing my car on the road I am completely happy with its presence. It has that look that is stunning and ready to go..

IMO the new turbo has a presence that is unmatched. the one thing I noticed is that all of the Porsche people(non-turbo) owners just look and stare..

Hey Kevin, I agree with you! I felt the same way when I was behind you a few weeks ago - unfortunately you didn't get that same view when we switched cars, until now.

Want to give Kevin a huge thanks in public as he was gracious enough to allow me the opportunity to drive his car a few weeks back (with him driving mine). I was a complete stranger and he acted as if we had known each other for years. I will definitely be ordering a TT because of the experience.

The last thing you said to me when you gave me the keys is a classic that I've repeated many times since: "Chris, if you crash you better total it"!!!!!!!! LOL!!

We could use your positive thread over on the "other" Porsche forum. Thanks for the input, and as far as I am concerned, you're preaching to the choir!

M5 was nice, but IMO did not feel like 500hp.

What's funny is, i let my friend drive my car and i was in his Sti, i never knew my car looked or sounded so insane before, its truely amazing seeing your own car and hearing it from another driver's POV or outside!!
