i dont think the GT cars should have a sunroof either. at least give the sunroof delete option.

The usual guess about the HP is that Porsche wouldnt want it's largest hp production car to be the Cayenne TurboS hence it would have to be over 520hp. Just a thought.

 

Yea i guess that makes sense. I hope though, its more in the range of 550-560 hp.

 

With the new GT3RS and the continous price drop on the CGT, it will be tough for the new GT2 to sell at above the $190K.

GT2 should be the purist iteration of the 911 IMO...im shocked at how many people cant wait for the PDK system to arrive and are actually not buying 997TT's because they are waiting for PDK...i can appreciate the technology in a race setting but for me it will always be a traditional manual that gets my blood flowing...how can you let computers control your driving experience?

 

Totally agree, even for a full out track car i rather have a manual, but other's will fight that paddle shift and so on is the all out fastest and best way to get the fastest lap times, oh well!

 

I agree. That's why I specced my GT2 cab out the way I did. Gonna get Tip, extra cupholders, and every leather and carbon fiber option. I have to drink a latte AND a tazo tea on the way to work, and I don't want my Burberry sweats to touch ANYTHING besides fine leather before I put them on and meet with my personal trainer at the gym after I leave the office. Stick is okay for people who like to concentrate on driving when they're behind the wheel, but when I need to show off, I can just slide it over to M, it's exactly like a racecar when you do that.

I'm afraid not. A man of wealth and taste, such as I, must make sure everyone knows that I purchased the most expensive 911 on the market, and the most expensive 911 shouldn't be had any other way. I briefly considered purchasing a Mercedes Benz SL-65, but was told I couldn't order it in the color combination I wanted (BMW Phoenix Yellow with green and purple 2-tone interior and baby blue convertible top) so that made me lean toward Porsche. Furthermore, to make sure everyone can tell what I'm driving in the evening, I have a set of custom 3-spoke 20" wheels that will be built for the car and a set of custom LED lights inside the wheels will spell out "GT2" and will be activated when I turn my headlights on.
