997tt Vs Turbo S

Well the other day in mexico I was with my girl and came along a 997tt Black with a custom plate.. Well anyways... On the highway we are and what to do but give them both some gas... From 4 gear pulls... The 997tt stayed right next to the 996tt then near top of 4th the Turbo S just pulls away... The Turbo is Lightly modded and honestly has no electronic tuning at all... Just woundered why the dam thing didnt pull away from me...

Are we talking mufflers, or full exhaust(headers, cats, and mufflers)?

I've run the 997TT with my friend's 996TT X50 with GIAC and V-flow. We've ran 3 times from 60km/h to 240km/h. Every time I can jump about 2 car length due to spool up faster and stay in that distance to 240km/h. Of course the sport chrono was on during the runs. I'm not sure what mods do you have, but I think the 997TT was not in the sport mode of don't have sport chrono.

I dunno then man. Its prob pretty close in terms of power. 480 hp compared to 444 hp with the hp from the exhaust and its prob pretty close. but then again the weight isnt.

If any member here has a stock 997TT around the Chicago area, I'd be up for doing some runs and getting it on video
