That's nuts! Tell him to change the pads to Pagid RS-19s and change the fluid to SRF...it will stop just as well or better than Brembos and you save a lot of weight. My Generation 1's lasted 19000 miles with many track days, the Generation 2's are supposedly lasting a whole lot longer...ask the guys at PDE.

Cleve,
i'm afraid we're not talking about stopping power here. i'm a big fan of PCCB so i know what it can do. i would've brought it from him but i don't see myself get a Turbo soon.

I thought the option for the PCCB on the Turbo was around $9K..
So why is your friend charging $12K?

Just curious..

the option is less than 9k when ordering with the car. if one's trying to buy after then Porsche sells the kit for about 18k+. not sure about the exact cost but i'll find out. my suggestion was selling it no more than 9k that's why i said OBO. i'm trying to help him get rid of it but not responsible if it actually sells or not. i'm trying my best to help him & i think the middle number would be a fair start.
