The Porsche 997TT is really as supercar for everyday, gentle and docile when you want her to be, but she can turn into a beast quick. Not as raw as I would like... say the GT2 which in my book is the best P car besides the Carrera GT. I am anxiously awaitng the next gen GT2.
There really is no comparison between the Bentley as the Porsche is a real sports car that can be tossed around a track whereas the Bentley as it wasnt meant to. For sheer fast speed cruising the Bentley is king, 150mph in that car and you will swear you were doing 100mph its that smooth.
BUT, I needed a Porsche maybe the bentley in about 20 years

Bajo how is it compared to your GT2? With sport on I heard it gets racecar like stiff, from different people and professional test drivers which I have read in a few mags? I'm thinking I would love it for its advanced suspension technology, driveability and so on, but not sure if I will be happy by not going GT2! You miss the GT2? haha ... Martin

Name me one owner that didn't miss their GT2 after it sold.

Compared to the GT2 is really no comparisson at all. Different breeds my brother, same genes but a different animal.
GT2 is no luxury supercar, its a SUPERCAR period. You always have to be on the ball with it.
The 997TT is super dooper quiet (working on a fix) IMHO for a car of this nature and potential. Rides real nice and smooth but still feels like a sports car as it should. Hit the Sport button and it turns into a much firmer ride and lets you know it. Hitting the sport button when cruising you actually feel the change even without hitting the throttle, sort of like a little blip to let you know you are ready for take off.
I really like the car and am happy I got back to Porsche.
Do I still miss my GT2, oh hell yes I still do. Def. not a car to be driven around everyday, esp. in the parts of the country where me and you live.

PS. Get the GT2 you will NOT regret it.
Still havent had time for taking pictures for 2 reasons, crappy a** weather here and just got her back from the dealer.
I had the clearbra installed and clear markers installed, also on the agenda was a RECALL Porsche had for the front ceramic brakes.
They replaced the front calipers and brake pads.

I think im going 997TT man, i mean if i still want something more raw after i probably mod the hell out of this one because i cant leave anything stock (
) , i'll go GT2. I just want a car i can drive alot now, and 997TT is it! BTW, Protomotive ECU 100RWHP gain
Martin,
You wont go wrong with either one. True that the 997TT is a GREAT every day supercar. Just today I was in Mexico again driving around and nailed it from 3rd gear got to 125mph FAST(in 4th gear of course for all you techies, hehe)once the VGT's kick in then its whoooooosh and you gotta slow down for the mules on the road. Good luck in your purchase.
