Seeing how the tip 997tt fairs a bit better than the manual at launching .. where would it be on this comparo?
Also, those numbers seem a bit conservative for the LP640 .. I have seen normal murcielagos push better speeds.

The LP easily brings out a 3.5 secs from 0 - 100...probably they were not able to do better since the weather conditions were bad

Wow, I thought the performance figures of the LP640 was out of this world ....!!! NOT. When it comes to looks, it beats the Posche 997TT. But since i have an idea of the performance figures, it shows tha modded 996TT cars will beat it. That is peace of mind.

Great great test! im kinda dissapointed in the lp640 numbers, i thought it would be faster than that. lambo toughted that this car was going to match the CGT, , yea right! still a great performer though. 997TT still goes to show it doesnt need a 12 cylinder to run with one! I read in the paper today that it weighs in at 3700 lbs, about the same maybe just a ltitle more than the 997TT, except that it has 160 hp more and barely outperforms it.
I DID NOTICE ONE THING THO. from 0-180 km the lp runs 11.8 sec and the turbo runs 10.5
From there, the turbo starts to catch up. 0-200 km are lp: 12.0 and the turbo 12.5 sec.
So the 997TT was down .7 sec to 180 km and at 200 only down .5
So the 997TT starts to gain from the 180 km point. Id like to see 240 km and see where the cars are then. i have a strong feeling the 997TT will have caught up by then.
