I had a 997tt, sold it in a month and bought a FGT. Totally different experience. The 997TT is transportation. The FGT is an experience everytime I drive it.

I'm convinced that if I was to get the 997TT I would get bored within days and end up getting rid of it.
The GT is a whole different concept - I'm hoping I could use it everyday?
My only concern with the FGT is that it would end up taking something from my Lambo Murcie and that it does the "same thing" as the Lambo - to the extent that I'd only need one or the other (and I LOVE my Lambo!)
I say get the 996 GT2! It will not take the supercar glory from your Murci and is the most hardcore 911 so far. And it looks like you want something a bit more raw, right?
Or get the 997 GT3, you can use it every day, you'll certainly not feel disconnected and it is just beautiful!!!!!! + you'll save some $ so give it to Manthey and you'll never ever look back!!
Or you could get the FGT....................

I went with Option 4, and added a few mods (see my signature) for another 200+ HP. Total cost of parts and labor was less than US $10,000. Just ran the 1/4 at 125.4 MPH with a very low RPM (2000) launch and shifting leisurely this past weekend. And here's the video.

BTW, the GT rides better than both of my stock 996 GT3 and Elise w/ Ohlins.
