Does the Boost vary?

This is my first turbo and I wanted to know if the boost pressure varies from time to time. For instance yesterday I was driving my car in overboost mode and I was getting 1.2 bar, today in overboost mode I am only getting anywhere from 1.0 bar to 1.2 bar. Is this normal for turbo's?

Yes, it will vary with these cars. In fact it will be all over the map based on EGTs.
