Searched but couldn't find that this had been posted.






16 tuners and thier cars were invited to another high-speed test at Nardo by AutoBild magazine
3 world records were achieved that day:
Brabus Rocket: 365.7 km/h - the fastest limousine in the World
9ff Porsche T6: 380.5 km/h - the fastest convertible in the World
HGP Gold R32: 323.1 km/h - fastest compact car in the World

the figure on top show the targeted top speed, the one belowe is the achieved top speed in that test

only the Hartge H50 failed in that test after some crash,
the F430 reaged 311 km/h before the hydraulic valves started to climper

380.5 km/h - 9ff Porsche T6 convertible, 780 PS (world record)
370.1 km/h - Sportec 911 SPR1, 802 PS
365.7 km/h - Brabus Rocket, 730 PS (wordl record)
343.9 km/h - Hohenseter H4 HS650, 650 PS
334.5 km/h - Techart 997 Turbo, 580 PS
331.7 km/h - AC Schnitzer Tension, 552 PS
327.0 km/h - Brabus S600 T13, 620 PS
325.0 km/h - Hartge H50 V10, 550 PS (*mfr.)
323.1 km/h - HGP Golf R32 Biturbo, 600 PS (world record)
320.9 km/h - edo Gallardo Spyder, 550 PS
311.7 km/h - edo F430 Spyder, 530 PS
306.5 km/h - Lorinser CL600, 565 PS
303.0 km/h - TechArt GT Sport, 385 PS
294.5 km/h - Enco Cayenne Turbo, 638 PS
288.0 km/h - edo Cayenne Turbo R, 620 PS
276.7 km/h - EDS Vectra OPC, 345 PS

OMFG... that is insane.

any more info on the Sportec? its finally real... and it looks like it delivers! does somebody have a translation of the gist of the article?

I saw the Rocket up close at Frankfurt show last year. I have to say, it was my favorite car in the entire show!
