Todd,
How can you run 17" wheels rear and 19" front? Is the car converted to 2wd or is the 997TT engineered such that outside tire circumference is not as critical as the 996tt?
My last day at the strip this fall, my stock clutch (65k miles) began slipping toward the top of 4th gear near the trap. During normal driving it does not slip, but I am up for a clutch job this winter. I like the way the LWF drives and intend to go that route. What effect do you think the LWF will have on my 1/4 times (you can see where I am running now looking at the links below, but I plan to add another 100 HP or so this winter)? I have heard both positive and negative comments regarding the effect of a LWF on 1/4 mile times. Personally, I think the car will be quicker, but some say don't count on it. If you don't mind, I would love to hear your opinion?

The overall tire diameter of our 17" setup is the same as the OEM 19". I have our 16 pound aluminum flywheel in the car. It is perfect! Not too light to where the clutch modulation is affected and about 10 pounds lighter than stock. I am running a sachs "999" racing pressure plate and RS sprung hub disk. I think this is the best overall street system that can handle most any track conditions and is good for up to 675 HP / TQ. It is hard to equate this lightweight setup to decreased 1/4 mile times but the engine will rev slightly faster. Let me know if you have any more questions.
More details can be found below. The total price for this system is $2690 and we are offering it for $2295 during our holiday sale. PM me if you are interested.
