Question on multifunctional steering wheel
Question on multifunctional steering wheel
Had no idea the functions on the steering wheel were tied exclusively to PCM system. Anyone know how to use steering wheel function buttons to change songs on CDs and how to adjust volume of radio or CD player????
Use the right wheel on the steering wheel to "Select Track" and then push in. Use the right wheel to scroll up or down the track list and push in when you want to select.
Use the left wheel to adjust volume.
Hope this helps.

I am out of town and don't have the luxury of lookin at my screen for exact wording but as far as I can remember, the easiest thing to do is...
Press "audio" and go to "track selection" which should be located right next to "folder selection". Once you are in "track selection" mode, the right scroll wheel will allow you to change tracks. Also, you don't have to press it in, when you scroll to the track you want, it will automatically play the track that is highlighted after a slight delay.
This is how most of the multifunction wheel works in general. The PCM screen has to display the function that you are trying to operate. It's not very intuitive but overall, the multifunction wheel controls just about everything. The funny thing is that it's often faster to just use your finger and bypass the wheel. Also, don't feel bad, it took me almost a year to figure out the track changing thing.
