What is the production month for MY 2008 997TT?

My dealer has 07 turbo allocation through May production, will June production begin the 08's?

Yes Lou, if everything is status quo, June production represents an 08 model year designation!!!

I had 39XX miles on my car and the market for Turbos is still hot....I'm gonna get another one, possibly with discount and start my mile clock back at 0....It makes sense in order to minimize loss...As I would have had 8000 miles on it by next may/june, then it would have taken a huge hit

just my opinion, but i think that this kind of stuff just complicates our lives. i ordered my turbo, got it just the way that i wanted it, then i drive it but feel compelled to sell it because it is still worth money?-nah, i am keeping mine, driving it, and enjoying it. i just think that too much of this stuff goes on, day after day. i am sure that you probably got close to list when you sold it. if that's the case, the buyer is nuts, as a bit of patience will get anyone now a brand new car in 4 months or less at msrp. i am not trying to criticize you-i am just saying that we ought to buy these things and enjoy them and not trade them like stocks-life is too complicated as it is.

Also.....in Lou's defense....what if one enjoys buying and selling their cars. To some, switching cars may seem stressful but to others its fun....(For me it's the latter) It's all a matter of personal preference. If the buyer/seller wants to buy/sell for a given price, that is their choice...They both have an option to do the deal or look somewhere else for a better deal.

you are certainly correct, every buyer has the ability and right to abuse themselves. if i was a buyer, i would keep far away from all the flippers online and in ebay that buy their car at the head of the line from their dealer, drive the crap out if it for from 500 to 3000 miles, and then sell it on ebay or on consignment for msrp or more to some dumb bastard. the flippers are not people who enjoy their cars-they are car brokers, plain and simple. not much different than sending 5 kids to buy 4 tickests each through ticketmaster, than selling them to the public for a mark-up. again, i agree with you-you have every right to do it. i just wouldn't be on the buying end of a flipper.
