Wow. Honestly, a thicker steering is key. It's one of the best options for a Porsche IMO. That one with CF is sick!!!!!!!!

That carbon version looks incredible. A must do, IMHO. Congrats.

I agree - The full leather without the Techart (and w/OEM Porsche airbag cover) would be perfect. I think I'd keep my stock wheel though in case I ever sell the car.

Any idea on the cost of the install?

Sweet steering wheel...I still prefer the GT3 one a bit more...Alcantara is too great to handle

Alcantara doesn't "wear" too well. I recently saw a well worn one and it had black marks everywhere. Definitely not for me.

Also, the GT3 wheel is very thin.

If I rememver correctly I read a while back that Brandywine had a special on the GT3 OEM stock wheel minus the airbag module for around $400.00. I have never done business with them so you need to inquire about the specifics if that is the route you want to go. Installation of course is not included. I am sorry, I meant for this post to be directed to Pilone.

Here are the prices (type 1 is the circular sport and type 2 is the multifunction)

Type 1 black 097.430.370.201 $1,489
Type 1 color as desired 097.430.370.CCC $1,659
Type 1 color / carbon 097.430.370.CCC/CF $1,989
Type 2 black 097.430.371.201 $1,489
Type 2 color as desired 097.430.371.CCC $1,659
Type 2 color / carbon 097.430.371.CCC/CF $1,989
Yes TECHART can make any color combination of smooth leather, perforated leather, Alcantara, perforated Alcantara, stitching, carbon etc.
Sorry but those prices are not correct. Where did they come from?

Mark,

Sorry I should have pointed out that these prices were from the original Techart pricelist that I had from more than 2 years ago. I paid the price listed for mine back then. Of course, the prices has gone up since then.
