Can someone explain the difference between 100 and 200 cell cats? And please no smart a.. answer one has 100 and the other 200. Why does 200 flow better? What type is in the stock exhaust? thanks

 

The number refers to how many cells the catalytic converter has per inch. A lower number will flow better because there is less of a restriction in the exhaust, at the cost of higher emissions.

No idea how many the stock exhaust has.

 

I believe the current stock cats are 800 cell

 

yeah.. depends on the brand and models.... but they hare ard 700-1300 cells... the more sporty, the less cells....
turbos are not that sensitive on dynamic pressure, unsupercharged engines need it, so u can't put bypass without loosing performance
