Thank you everyone for all the kind words!

As those who know me, this is only the beginning. I have more plans.

Here are the additional plans:
  • Suspension (coming in 2 weeks). Surprise as I will be first U.S customer to have this on my car. (top secret )
  • Upgraded hoses and Y Pipe painted in red (ordered, installed next week)
  • Foot pedals (ordered, installed next week)
  • Gemballa hood (whenever they have available)
  • TechArt Dual tips (ordered, waiting)
  • New Turbos (waiting on EVOMs to send)
  • TechArt CF Roof spoiler (ordered, waiting)
  • New Seats (trying to determine what to get) GT3 seats or ??
  • Fire Extinguisher (waiting on kit from Sharky)
  • Intake (waiting on EVOMs to build/send)
Am I missing anything?

I've never liked aftermarket BK's on the 996's (except the gt2 look) but the TA on your 997 looks really nice. Way better than stock. What's the price range of the TA kit without paint?

Ok everyone,

Regarding the GT3 Vent, I think those who will do this mod will learn from my install.

1. Placement (can be place where you want). Personally I would have prefered closer to the hood maybe an inch higher. I did see another car that didn't even put any space between the bumper and hood. (that looked good as well).

2. As you will see from my pics, you can see everything under the bumper. It's the radiator. I am going to have a Black Mess installed next time I take it to the shop.

As well, you will notice from the pics that some of the glue melted and landed on my radiotor. I am going to have to try to get those off, or have my body shop to that when I get meshed installed. I think it was because of the bad weather/rain we had and I drove the car back in the rain right after the car was done. (so make sure the glue is 100% dry!)

Here are closer pics for everyone.

Fred again it looks great either way with the install, with the little cleaning up of the glue and mesh it will be damn near perfect! As for your other mods, i didnt expect any less LOL, goodluck once again

Well happy to say I was able to remove the glue!! Unfortunately while doing it a scuffed up the vent with little scratches here and there. It already got some chips from some rocks too. The piece is gonna have to get recoated from time to time!!
