They're awesome but I think an inch bigger would look nicer.

Agreed if going for looks. For performance you have to have 19's. Trust me, the car grips soo much better with 19's.

Yeah, I'd pick performance over looks anyday. So I'd gone for 19s too if that's the case. :-) Nice one.

Seriously, I'll take it.

Good lord Fred - I hardly ever post, but I couldn't help myself. The car looks absolutely stunning. I have to admit, ever since I first saw pictures of the 997TT's, I was waiting for someone to mod it right...and I think you've done it.

Enjoy it.

Kirby,

If all goes well, the kit should arrive from Germany Feb 12th. I want to get it installed before my track day Feb 14th. Why don't you come take some shots of me racing at Laguna Seca!!!

New toys today! thanks Alex!

New Evom Pedals

Evoms Y Pipe

Upgrade Evoms Hoses

Miltek Exhaust

This exhaust is quieter then I expected but again it's brand new. It started getting louder though after driving 30 miles. I must say that the response seems to be better then when I had the straight pipes. Might be because the GIAC software was programmed to run with an exhaust and not straights. I was f'ing around (non sport mode) and hitting 1.0 bar all the time !!

I am coming up on my 35th in 2 weeks and maybe that's why I actually liked the more quiet sound and no droning in my ears! What is going on here!!!

More mods to come shortly!!!!

Now this is funny ****! Won't post on the Fabspeed tip thread even though I should but you guys should be aware of this issue.

Fabspeed Tips with Fabspeed Exhaust = Poor Fitment
Fabspeed Tips with Miltek Exhaust = Perfect Fitment

Pics - Fabspeed tips/Fabspeed Exhaust (look at the right one, angled up and to the right) I had same issues with mine.

Now fabspeed tips with Miltek Exhaust (perfectly straight!!)

Please understand that I am not bashing Fabspeed here. They make a great exhaust but on my car and I've heard from other folks who have installed the tips on the Fabspeed exhaust that the fitment in not perfect. I am just sharing this so people can be educated/informed prior to purchasing.

You can ask people who have seen my tips and you can even see on the fabspeed pics.

thank you.
