What mods would be needed on a 997tt to outrun an Enzo?

And believe me its not that easy getting the same performance as an RT12 (which is half a second quicker than an enzo to 300kmh)

best,

Our own member LV Eric has been outrun by a CLK DTM while he was driving his Enzo. They switched cars and had the same result...

I see your point. However, I am more interested in comparing the actual performance potential of the cars while taking out driver variables as much as possible such as in rolling starts or even starting out at FWY speeds.

Must have been something wrong with the enzo...

I spent a whole day at Hockenheim drag racing those things, and chasing them round the track, and believe me. They are not that fast.

You can see some of the videos from the day at : www.revlovers.com

to view them though you have to become a member (takes only 2 mins)

best

I dont think its easy to reporoduce the bhp/NM figure of the rt12, it requires quite a bit of work

Not sure that the 997 tt is there yet, top mod so far is 610 hp.
Not as of next week

My 997's surgery is finally wrapping up... Protomotive ECU, promotive exhaust, EvoMS headers, and Protomotive-modified turbos. Todd's already done one such car, minus the headers, and it made >560 AWHP. I expect to see 650-675 BHP.

I am sure it requires quite a bit of work, but similar or even higher bhp/NM figures have already been achieved by 996tt's and I am sure 997tt's will get there soon also. As for the reliability of these mods I am sure the RUF cars will be way ahead.

I'm quite surprised that someone would even street race their Enzo. Thought these type of cars only sat in a rich man's collection for his viewing pleasure.
