The guy in the video said "Porch".....not "Porsh". "Porsh" might be acceptable in some circles. "Porch" is southern red-neck. A "porch" is not a car...it is a covered structure outside the home where broken appliances are stored, beer is guzzled, and bugs are zapped.

LOL this guy should probably get neg reps too and probably will. You just came in at a bad time because your post was literally a couple days after SCvet00 got banned so you took a beating (I didnt -rep for the record).

 

My point was that I didn't want to be lumped in with guys like that, not what he said literally.

 

Sorry I have to bring this up again but who cares about negative reps? I sure don't and if you give me one I will gladly give you a positive. I could careless and I wish people would just get over it. I am not personally pointing the finger but it seems alot of people think these rep points are redemable at Kmart or some kind of tax write off.

They arent a big deal. It is annoying though when people do it and wont leave their names. It's like talkin about someone behind their backs, but to their face (you know what I meant). It's just pretty funny what some people here will negative rep you for. They do have a sort of magnetic "I must have more of them" effect on you though. Some sort of psychological mind trick.

I just received 3rd hand information that the Z06 in this video was running Nitrous. This info came from the driver of the 997TT. Just thought I'd pass it along to stir the pot even more.

 

I spoke to the driver myself yesterday at the "Rock" for an episode of Pinks and he did say that z06 was running N20...the driver of the 997TT is also running N20 now as well and given his 10.8 at 132 I have no reason to doubt him...Kevin

Divexxtreme, all out all the car people on here, I know that you are probably the most rational one and non biased when it comes to performance. You should know that from a roll, the TT doesn't stand a chance and you should also know that it is close up to 120, where after that the Z06 will walk away. I raced a 997 TT and I had VERY similar results to this guys race with the TT, except I passed the TT earlier from a dig because the guy actually took off on 3 honks, not 2 in this original vid.

That car was BONE stock making 440 rwhp when it raced that TT. Read the posts above. The TT owner is in BIG time denial and had to come up with an excuse as to why he lost to a 70K car. How LAME..

The Z06 driver in that video does far more damage to his own credibility than any 3rd party could. That pre-pubescent monologue at the end of the clip makes it very easy for many of us to doubt the veracity of his car's stock tune. There will be a good unbiased and controlled test coming in October at the Texas Mile. Many enthusiasts of various backrounds- 2 wheel, 4 wheel, 2 to 12 cylinders - will be there for fun and comraderie, including me and my Z06 friends.
