I really like the stockers also...don't understand why they are so maligned.

Coming from a 996...this car is so much better I can't even put it into words properly. I drives like my BMW around town...very comfortable with all of the creature comforts...I heard a lot of people say that before but I didn't really believe it until I got the car...the cabin feels like a much bigger car...truly astounding.

Then when you hit the gas pedal...it's like nothing I have experienced before outside of a rollercoaster.

The clutch is soft and easy to drive in traffic...again I didn't believe it considering my 996 sent me to the chiropractor for back and hip pain!

The stock shifter is perfect...don't waste your money on a sport shifter.

I even think the stock seats are great...but I am hoping to track the car so the adaptives should come in handy.

The illuminated sills are way cool and worth the insane amount of $$ (to me at least).

I also really like the stock exhaust...it's loud when I want it to be and docile when I want it to be.

I know it's been said before but I can't believe the difference from normal mode to sport mode either...again...had to live it to believe it.

The car is just perfect. I never thought I would ever say that about a car...but this is perfect. I will keep it forever (or until the 998 Turbo arrives!)

Lager-Yeah we just got a few inches of snow and ice so all I can do is stare at the car in the garage for now...it took me 30 minutes to get the BMW out of the driveway today...very upsetting when I have the Turbo taunting me...

C4-thanks man...my in laws live in Jackson, NJ...so I am sure I will be there soon...let me know if you want to take the car for a ride.

Raclaims,
I'm also in Bergen county and three other Turbo 6speeders are in Waldwick. We usually get together on Sunday mornings and rip up 17 to 287 or 4 to 208 during Spring, Summer, and Fall. Hopefully we'll see you out there this year.

lager-put snows on it and you can drive it all year round. i had it out the day of the storm, and with 4 winter tires on my 997 turbo, it drove beautifully. my cayenne with snows is better, but i know that when i take my car to work and when it snows before i go home, i have no problem

Fantastic...I am very close to both 208 and 287...would love to join you guys.

How about a run up to Bear Mountain as well? There are some great roads and scenery up there.

Wow - Awesome car...

There is a Meteor Gray 997TT taunting me at the local dealership... Stories like yours are doing me no favors trying to keep me from doing it... LOL!

Congrats!

If I had enough cash I would buy it for you...that's how strongly I recommend this car. If you can get one you should.

I have driven and owned lots of sports cars...but...man oh man...nothing like this thing. The 996 was seriously like driving my old 1980 RX7 compared to this...fun to drive but no comparison.
