Raclaims,
Ive been following this thread and enjoying your comments and the excitement of your new Turbo, including the months of waiting. My wife just got her 997S cab a couple of weeks ago, and I agree with your comments on the imporvments in the 997 series.

I feel like Jessica Simpson:
................I know they donn even make it yet, but I wont it!

Getting the Itch to order a Turbo Cab... very scary thought and I havn't figured out how to justify a third convertable to my wife, but I'm working on several new rationalization theorys.... Give me time.... Hmmmm... I smell a new thread coming...

QKENUFF-the improvements are amazing aren't they?

If you are quoting Jessica Simpson should you really be driving a Porsche Turbo anyway!

Forget the TT Cab...convertibles are great but I have to say...the experience of the coupe is so much better (to me at least).

NC gets plenty cold...wouldn't it be nice to rip it up with the coupe and then when it gets nice you can take the wife's car or the F car.

Thanks for the very cool offer...I very well may take you up on it. Although the car is covered with road salt right now! Nothing will stop me from driving this thing...snow, ice, whatever...I don't care.

Its true reclaims, the stock wheels and the red calipers look awesome with a Blk/Blk Turbo. Even the stock exhaust is growing on me (lookwise) I can't comment on the sound but comming from a 997S with PSE I am not expecting too much. We'll see in a few months? Enjoy in good health!

I might go for a Turbo Targa (simply for the sake of variety) if they made one, but generally, I am an open-top kind of guy, otherwise, I'd take the Pepper. That said, I still miss my 04 Mini Cooper S with the giant sunroof... Maybe another one of those in the new turbo generation... I'm not sure how to cure the addiction.... in fact I'm not sure I want too.

Cheers

I don't know man...the exhaust really seems perfect to me. It's really loud and aggressive at the right times then when cruising along on the highway you can talk on the phone without a roar in your ear.

I actually asked the dealer about a Turbo Targa last week...they said it will never be done as the center of gravity causes too many issues, etc. I would guess if demand was there they would build it. I for one would buy one.

I also love the drop top when the time is right...but for year round enjoyment you just can't beat the turbo. I'll buy another convertible to scratch my itch when summer rolls in. Am very close to getting a superformance Shelby Cobra Mark III...sweeet.
