If by affiliated with the dealership you mean have I ever worked there, No. Like you I was intereseted in purchasing a car I went into the dealership a couple of years ago and inquired about a titanium cayenne turbo with specific options that they did not have it. The next day I found the car I wanted located at the princeton porsche dealership, i printed out information about the car and went back to the chambers, gave it to the salesperson and he said he would be more than willing to transport the car to boston for me. I have had nothing but great expeirence with sales and service herb chambers porsche.

@DJ:
My cousin just got his 997TT in the same color scheme, except full leather, and wood trim. Absolutely amazing. GET IT! Remember: IF YOU CAN, YOU MUST!

Isn't full leather standard? It is a great color combo.

Please continue this thread! Good read.............but left me wanting so much more. Fascinating consumer mind set, of which I can only imagine what it would be like to have such buying power..........and yet the notion that a serious, able, and ready buyer is wasting a salesman's time! Crazy! Someone failed the 10 minute class that teaches you how to kiss ***, or at a minimum.... do what you said you would do. Call! I wonder who wasted they're time? $$$$$$$$
