Where is the computer?

I'm considering a flash, and I want to have a spare computer, ECU. For a GM car I had you had to jack up the front to get to it.

Where is it and how hard is it to switch if you need to go in for service? thanks

Vincy

It is located in the rear of the car. Put both back seats down...take out the subwoofer and it is located behind the passenger rear seat.....extremely easy to get to

what do you need an extra computer for?

are you thinking about getting a GIAC? you could buy a flash loader to turn the chip on/off

Do-it-yourself progammers fof the 987 TT

I know there are do-at-home programers for GM cars, such as EFILive. I do this with my laptop. Are there similar programs for the Porsche? I don't want to set the parameters myself, just upload and download.

But an extra computer still sounds good for warrenty issues.
