That's why you see the silver bolts in the close up shots. I should have the black ones on by Tuesday/Wednesday.
Thanks - what did you have to do so that you could use lug nuts instead of lug bolts?

Read my post carefully, please...I used wheel studs. You put these in the axle then use lug nuts with them.

Thanks - much clearer to me now. Another question - where did you get the stud kit? Thanks again.

My dealership ordered them from the RUF auto center in Texas.

I wasn't too happy with the initial look and the car didn't feel as "tight" around the corners as I'd have liked.

I came across a set of wheels from the GT3 RS which is a widebody just like the Turbo with wheels designed accordingly. These wheels had an offset of 51mm just as the Turbo wheels do so no more spacers would be needed. The car once feels as tight around the corners as when I first took delivery not to mention how good it looks!

No more spacers

Deep concave dish look

Vantage shot with the new wheels

The view that most folks see when I'm around

Very happy with the latest mods! And no, I'm not planning to swap springs. I scrape the front end already as it is even when driving at an angle.
I am not familiar with how offset works. But 997tt front stock wheel's offset is ET56 and GT3 front wheel's offset (one you have installed) is ET53. There is 3mm difference. Doesn't it require 3mm spacer (if there is a such kind ?) ??? I would appreciate your advice.

it just means the wheels will stick out 3mm more.. which is neglible. spacer would do the opposite - push it out further.

Here's some interesting information:

Model Track
Front Rear (mm)

GT3 1486 1511
Turbo 1490 1548
GT3 RS 1497 1558

I'm pretty sure that it's not just the wheels that could attribute to the wider stance between the Turbo and the GT3 RS.
