'08 997TT vs. '07 - Changes?

I am contemplating ordering a vehicle that will arrive in June, when the factory will be readying itself for '08 production. Has anyone heard about changes to the '08 vehicles or modifications resulting from any factory recalls or service bulletins?

Have you heard if they will they be retrofittable, or will they have different electrical requirements?

On the spy photos the lamp shape differs so a new rear clip will be required - at least on the non turbo pics we have seen.

Bottom line - nobody really knows if the changes for C2/C4 will appear on the '08 TT. In fact, there is no confirmation that they will be on the '08 or '09 C2/C4.

We won't be seeing any changes to the TT in 08'. However, 09' will see the new updates the C2/C4 receive in 08' implemented on the TT.

I agree with SkyMan. Do you think the same applies to GT3?

Skyman, thanks for the info. Could you tell me where to find the changes to the C2/C4 coming in '08? Thanks.

Yes, same goes for the GT3. We won't see any changes on it until 09' as well. You'll see a new, bigger intake in the front facia and new tail lights on the C2/C4. There may be other minor details changed to the exterior as well, but the sharpest eye won't even notice them.

Powertrain gets the biggest change IMO. The new Cayenne direct-injection engines will be thrown in and the new DSG style tranny will be available.

Edit:

Looks like you'll see a few more things as well.

The article says 2009...but I do believe we'll see this stuff for the 08' C2/C4 line.
