Question 997TT Exhaust pls help!!

Hello, this is Sebastian, Hernando's cousin. I need some help picking out an exhaust for my 997TT. Do you guys think I should go with Fabspeed or Cargraphic? Should I get the whole kit; Headers, Cats, Muffler, Tips etc, or should I just get the mufflers and tips? What has been your experience with these two companies? What do you guys suggest I get? Thanks for your help! I appreciate it!

Get ready for 30 different opinions. It won't help you but confuse you even more ;-)

In terms of sound, not HP gains.

Loudest - Straight Pipes
2nd - Fabspeed / Cargraphic
3rd - Awe / TechArt / Miltek

Go with Techart. Incredible exhaust. And in my opinion, best looking tips for that car. Headers aren't necessary cause they really don't give you gains. you end up spending more than you have to. TAT is expensive!

Thanks!30 different opinions may help me narrow something down, if anything I will see what was the most common answer. I would be looking for a balance between performance and sound enhancement.

Hernando-

What qualities are you looking for in an exhaust? Tell me what you like and don't like.

We sell a system that offers performance without resonance or drone.

Well, I am looking for an exhaust that will give me some more power, and that will make the sound much better. The stock exhaust is too quiet. I remember what Lou's cargraphic exhaust sounded like, and I liked that. I don't want something that is too loud. I want a quality exhaust that lasts, and will please my hearing senses. I also like the quad pipe look. Something that frees the car up a bit.

Hernando I have dyno runs for the Cargarphic that were done in Europe. I am too lazy to shrink them for this site. Basicaly you end up with 640NM and 502 PS a small increase but an increase none the less.

PM with your email address if you want them.

Hi Sabastian, I have tried the fabspeed on my car and did not like the sound or the fit. The tips would not line up coming out of the bumper and it threw up a code for the cats. I now have the milltek exhaust and the fit and sound are perfect! I posted pics in a previous post that show the tips coming out of the bumper if you want to see just check my posts.

The sound of the exhaust is a personal preference, mine is the milltek, not too loud and not too quiet, just right imo and no codes! I feel this is the way the car should have came from the factory.

Thanks guys.
@Lou: I know you love cargraphic, i think that's what Sebastian is going to go with. When are you coming back down? Ryan was just here! Come down this weekend, it's the Key Biscayne regatta, crazy party on the boat!
---Back to Exhausts--- Stephen from Imagine Auto contacted me, I am going to give him a call as well.
