GM lost 1.4 billion in the first half of the year. They lay off not hundreds or thousands but TENS of THOUSANDS at a time. GM is definitely not pedigree...they are a decrepit corporation that in no way compares to Porsche. GM became bottom of the barrel by placing their name on some bottom of the barrel products.

Pedigree defined means history & lineage and the Corvette (not GM as a Company) enjoys a great histroy/lineage (talking 1958-1967). The C3, C4 and to some degree, the C5, do nothing for me.

I respect the car. I actually called it beautiful, but I realize that it is produced from the loins of a crippled manufacturer. I find nothing offensive in stating this...it is factual that GM is sinking. Were people also offended when Kirk Kerkorian echoed the same sentiment by recently dumping 14 million shares of GM stock?

I think the Z06 is an awesome car.....sure as hell can run me into the ground, but saying that I sill like my P car..... a classic. The Vets come and go, and there were some really nice ones....I like the styling of the z06......
