Interesting info, I don't know much about BMW but there could be something related to mapping as well between the different versions.
Here is a graph from another tuning supplier showing the dyno chart from a stock 997TT ex-overboost and the dyno chart of one of their 544HP kit. The curves are quite similar to Porsche albeit the numbers are a bit different. I am sure this is load related.
