Don't know about you guys, but the only thing I would be thinking about all evening would be where the car is parked, how many times the valet took it around the neighborhood "in search of a parking spot" (yes, I've heard that one) and how many of his friends piled in for the road test. Furthermore, you can't usually detect minor damage at night in bad lighting and you feel and look like a jerk giving your car the "white glove" treatment every time you go out.
Guess we'll be taking my wife's car out for dinner from now on.

Last year I went out at end of June and bought a Toyota Matrix for 20% off the sticker for $14,800. Its great for taking everywhere,, a lot of utility in this car and no one will steal it. A perfect car for use in the city, to malls, to Hm Depot/Lowes.
For the money this is one of the best cars I ve ever purchased. I am averaging 36 mpg on regular gas (5 speed manual).
I would never let a valet near my Porsche.
When we go out I have no problem pulling up in the Toyota.
The best news is I can only lose $14,800,, thats it.. lol

I only trust a few valet areas where I know the guys personally and I have their cell phone numbers to call them when I come up. Personally I don't care which car I drive up because I want it to be treated the same way. Curbing a wheel that I have no rashes on is still curbing a wheel. I made the mistake a few times of allowing a valet because it was raining and I didn't notice until the next day that they curbed a rim and a put a nice door ding in it. I was furious but since I drove off - I couldn't do a thing. Lesson learned.
