Source for storage lid with logo?

I didn't get this option on my Turbo but think it looks really good. Has anyone ordered one thru Porsche parts or found a good source?
It looks like it's just held on with screws. Hopefully it's that easy to change.

If it's an "exclusive" option (CUV) which I think it is I don't think it's available for purchase unless you can provide a VIN of a car that was ordered with it. Atomic80 (Jason) wanted the gear lever trim (option CDZ) and could not get it without finding a VIN from someone who had ordered that part originally.

Forget trying to get it from Exclusive, it will take 6 months and cost $700.

They will never tell you the cost in advance or how long it will take. We've ordered them before, sometimes it's 3 months/$450, sometimes not.

SilverStar and Oklahoma might have damaged cars with good interiors, and Black is most likely to show up.

Give them a try.

I did manage to get the gear trim. It cost me only $147 dollars which is ironic because ordering this piece from the factory costs over $300. I lucked out in finding someone with the same color interior and the CDZ option I wanted. Try doing the same too. It took them a while to get the part (around 3 months) so as long as you're patient it'll come.

Here's a pic of the model logo and Porsche crest logo. I went with model as I will already have the crest in the headrests.

Question, does the standard storage lid have the same stitching on the sides as the logoed ones? I have a car coming with a leather console, is it going to look stupid without this option?

Nope, it does not come with stiching. As far as looking stupid......it just looks incomplete.

I was afraid of that, by the time I noticed this I had given my dealer the build and didnt want to put the car out 7-10dyas for the change. Guess I'll trying and find it after the fact. If anyone finds one in black with the Turbo on it, please let me know.

Subbie, Hope you have better luck than I have so far. My source, a dealer, wants $1200.00 deposit and wouldn't know the cost until porsche ships the item. Non returnable item. Said it could a week to 8 months to get it. You definately will need a Vin that had this item build in the car. I think I'm ready to throw in the towel on this one.
If I could find the font I would try to get a leather shop to stitch in the logo and around the edges

$1200 for that piece is just stupid. Shame on Porsche! As a matter of fact I almost feel like shame on my dealer for not mentioning this concidering how my build was put together with all the leather options I have. I of cource realize turds roll down hill and its really all my fault... but hell i've never built a 997tt before... jeesh :0-
