break in period

wat is the best way to put in break in miles..... highway or streets and about how many miles until i can really redline my beast....



PS its still on the boat goin over the pond

RTM when you get it. It likes the engine speed to be varied a lot during the first 1k or 2k miles. No long droning highway miles with cruise.

Drive it like you stole it right out of the gate. I waited 500 miles to unlease my car, and I think it was 499 too many!! Factory book "suggestion" is to prevent you from killing yourself and totaling your car until you get used to the rapid acceleration. Remember, most of these cars are sold to Drs. and others who are not Hurley Haywood. Enjoy and dont worry about it.

I am going to keep it under 4K rpms for a few weeks to get used to it.

then i will increase the rpms each time I drive until I get her up to redline,, probably in a month or so.

this car isnt meant to be pampered IMO.


who knows I may get so excited on the drive from the dealership home that all the rules may go out the window...

talk is cheap,,lets see what really happens!!
