Front lip replacement

Just FYI, replacement front lip at Suncoast Porsche is $160.39 with tapping screws. A far cry from $310 that my local dealer wanted.

So...scratch, scrape away !!!

Thats awesome! I was so bummed out the first time i went up my driveway and destroyed the underside. 160 plus paint (mine is color matched) is a deal. was thinking that piece would be an annual replacement but might be a semi-annual replacement now. Is the piece only held on by a few screws right now?

Two screws at either end then clips that are part of the lip that pull out of the space in the bumper. Very easy to do. I bought two, one to replace and one as a spare. Both for less than $300 shipped from Sunset Imports - I've had great service (and pricing) from these guys.

You guys have a specific part # and name of anyone you talk to? Does not look like they list that part on their site. Thanks for the help!

Just go to www.sunsetimports.com and follow the links to Porsche parts. I have dealt with Jeff Clark. They can usually find the part number for you but here it is for the 997TT lip 997-505-557-01-01c
